Welcome back to the parenting podcast for dads where older dads deliver hilarious fatherhood tips and parenting comedy on surviving 5-foot waves and an $11,000 baby bill! Navigating dad life as a Gen X dad brings endless humor in life when your toddler uses the dog bed as a launchpad for her first unassisted steps.
In this episode, Frank and Carlo share essential new dad advice and fatherhood advice for raising kids without losing your sanity. We jump into our "Check, Please" segment, where Frank calculates the true cost of being a dad—surpassing $11,200 on diapers, books, and backwards-installed basement baby locks. Next, Frank unpacks a wild boat trip across Lake Ontario featuring five-foot waves crashing over the roof, an infamous $15 Dubai pistachio cheesecake at the New York State Fair, and the art of "agree and move on" marital diplomacy.
Packed with classic dad humor, reliable baby advice, and unfiltered parent advice, this week proves that toddler milestones and funny parenting go hand-in-hand. Hit subscribe for authentic parenting insights and fatherhood stories you won't hear anywhere else!
